- Empty freezer, eat all the rubbish that's been hiding there all year, and defrost: Ongoing! (Memo to Self: next time, buy a more expensive fridge that defrosts itself!)

Good news from Texas is that the temperature is forecast to be 101 on Thursday and 102 on Friday, that's gonna take some re-hydratin'!! Dave'll probably be asleep with his jetlag for 2 days tho'.

Linda's alive and well. Today, she's celebrating our 30th Wedding Anniversary (no, really! -- our honeymoon was a tour of the western US and now 30 years later we're back again!) by defrosting the fridge, packing the cases, organising the paperwork, organising me, and generally multitasking in the way that only female homo sapiens can! Maybe I should go and give her a hand . . .
